Our services

Individual Therapy

We focus on creating a warm, safe space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

In individual therapy, we work together to help build emotional well-being and learn practical coping skills to handle life’s challenges. Each treatment plan is personalized to you or your family’s unique strengths and needs, allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors at a pace that feels comfortable.

Along the way, you’ll learn concrete strategies to manage stress, handle big emotions, and build resilience.

Clinical Supervision

As a certified supervisor in Virginia with more than 7 years experience as a licensed clinician, Lauren is qualified to provide supervisory oversight for  future clinicians seeking licensure. Lauren uses her experience in emergency assessment, trauma treatment, crisis intervention, play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help guide clinicians as they navigate the steps towards their credentials. Her goal is to hold space for clinicians to discover your authenticity as therapists while safely guiding you through the establishment of an ethical practice foundation.

Medication Evaluation & Management

We know the idea of medication can feel scary and overwhelming. We start by really getting to know your child — their story, strengths, and challenges — and exploring all the factors that might be affecting their well-being, including sleep, nutrition, school environment, and family dynamics.

Only after looking at the whole picture do we even consider medication. And if it feels right, we move slowly and carefully, making sure you feel informed and comfortable at every step. Our goal is to support growth in the most thoughtful, balanced way possible.

Social Development Groups

Group therapy can be a powerful tool to help children develop deeper social connections and the skills needed to build meaningful friendships. In a supportive, guided environment, children have the opportunity to engage with their peers, practice communication, and learn how to navigate the complexities of social relationships. This group-based approach encourages children to deepen their social bonds, moving beyond surface-level acquaintances and cultivating the trust and understanding required for true friendship. Through this process, children can develop the essential skills, such as empathy, conflict resolution, flexibility and social perspective taking, that are vital for creating and maintaining fulfilling friendships.
